Terms of Service
These Terms govern your use of BESTWORKLOG.COM, including the Work & Pay Record Book, account features, cloud records, backups, exports, and related services.
1. Agreement to these Terms
By accessing BESTWORKLOG.COM, creating an account, logging in, or using the service, you agree to these Terms of Service and acknowledge the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
If you use BESTWORKLOG.COM for an organization or on behalf of another person, you represent that you have authority to do so and to accept these Terms for that use.
2. Who may use BESTWORKLOG.COM
You must be legally able to agree to these Terms. If applicable law does not allow you to enter this agreement on your own, a parent, guardian, or other legally authorized person must agree on your behalf. BESTWORKLOG.COM is not intended for children under 13.
3. Account responsibilities
- Provide accurate account information and keep your email address current.
- Keep your password, verification links, recovery codes, and backup passwords private.
- Use “Keep me signed in” only on devices you trust and sign out of shared or public devices.
- Notify BESTWORKLOG.COM if you reasonably believe your account has been compromised.
- You are responsible for activity performed through your account unless applicable law provides otherwise.
4. Your Work Log content
You keep ownership of the information you enter into your Work Log. You give BESTWORKLOG.COM the limited permission needed to host, process, synchronize, back up, restore, display, and otherwise handle that information solely to operate, secure, support, and improve the service and to comply with law.
You are responsible for having the right to enter, upload, store, or share information about other people. Do not place information in BESTWORKLOG.COM that you are not authorized to use.
5. Records are organizational tools, not official payroll or legal determinations
BESTWORKLOG.COM is a record-keeping and organizational tool. Calculations, summaries, payment-status labels, exports, and reports depend on the information entered and are not a substitute for payroll systems, tax advice, accounting advice, legal advice, government records, contracts, or professional verification.
6. Cloud saving, backups, exports, and restores
Verified accounts may use private cloud saving and related account features. BESTWORKLOG.COM uses safeguards intended to reduce accidental data loss or cross-account access, but no system can guarantee uninterrupted availability or perfect preservation of data.
Secure Account Backups are recovery copies and should be kept private. PDFs, spreadsheets, printouts, and other readable exports are controlled by you after they are downloaded. Restoring a backup or earlier version can change the records currently visible in the service, so review restore information carefully before confirming.
7. Acceptable use
You may not misuse BESTWORKLOG.COM. Prohibited conduct includes attempting to access another user's private records without authorization; interfering with security or service operation; introducing malicious code; using automated activity that unreasonably burdens the service; impersonating another person; using the service for fraud or unlawful activity; or attempting to bypass access controls.
8. Communications
BESTWORKLOG.COM may send account, verification, password-recovery, security, product, service, and support communications to the contact information associated with your account. Promotional communications, when used, will include any opt-out method required by applicable law. You may still receive non-promotional messages that are necessary to operate or protect your account.
9. Intellectual property
BESTWORKLOG.COM, its website design, software, branding, logos, original text, and other service materials are owned by or licensed to the operator of BESTWORKLOG.COM and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. These Terms do not transfer ownership of the service to you. Your Work Log content remains yours as described above.
10. Free service and future paid features
The current service may include free features. BESTWORKLOG.COM may later offer paid plans, memberships, collaboration tools, or other premium features. Before a paid feature is charged, the applicable price, billing terms, renewal terms, cancellation terms, and any additional conditions will be presented as required by law. These Terms do not by themselves authorize a future charge.
11. Changes, suspension, and discontinuation
BESTWORKLOG.COM may update, add, remove, suspend, or discontinue features when reasonably necessary for product development, security, legal compliance, maintenance, or service operations. We will provide notice when legally required or when a change materially affects user rights. We may restrict or suspend access when reasonably necessary to address security threats, abuse, unlawful conduct, or material violations of these Terms.
12. Account termination and deletion
You may use available account controls to delete your account. Account deletion is intended to remove the cloud records described in the Privacy Policy, subject to limited retention that may be required for security, legal compliance, dispute resolution, or other lawful purposes. Files you already downloaded or shared outside BESTWORKLOG.COM are not remotely deleted by deleting the account.
13. Third-party services
BESTWORKLOG.COM may rely on service providers for hosting, authentication, database storage, email delivery, security, and other infrastructure. Those providers may have separate terms or privacy practices for their own services. Links to third-party websites are provided for convenience and do not make BESTWORKLOG.COM responsible for those websites.
14. Service availability and disclaimers
To the extent permitted by law, BESTWORKLOG.COM is provided on an “as available” basis. We do not promise that the service will always be uninterrupted, error-free, or suitable for every particular purpose. Nothing in these Terms excludes warranties, remedies, or rights that cannot legally be excluded.
15. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by applicable law, BESTWORKLOG.COM and its operator will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from use of the service, including loss caused by inaccurate user-entered data, failure to keep independent copies, misuse of exported files, or events outside reasonable control. This section does not limit liability that cannot legally be limited.
16. Disputes and applicable law
These Terms are subject to the laws that legally apply to the user, the operator, and the dispute. Nothing in these Terms removes consumer-protection rights or other mandatory rights that applicable law does not allow a contract to waive. Before filing a formal dispute, you are encouraged to contact BESTWORKLOG.COM so the issue can be reviewed and, when possible, resolved informally.
17. Changes to these Terms
BESTWORKLOG.COM may update these Terms as the service develops. The “Last updated” date will be changed when the Terms are revised, and additional notice will be provided when required by law or when a material change reasonably requires it. Continued use after updated Terms become effective means you accept the updated Terms to the extent permitted by law.
